My friend Doug Wolter preached a sermon this past Sunday on David and Mephibosheth (2 Sam. 9:1-13) that profoundly depicts the love and mercy of our God. I heartily encourage all to listen and receive. It is entitled, "Broken and Beloved."
I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart want to sing! Though lameness and brokenness still mark my life (and always will), I am re-defined by the radical love of my Prodigal God, who lavishes love on the broken sinner.
